McDowell Purcell statementThe Professional Standards Authority in the UK published a statement in July 2014 explaining the purpose of the fitness to practise process. The Authority published this statement as evidence was found of widespread confusion amongst the public, registrants, and other stakeholders, in their project on Modern and efficient fitness to practise adjudication. This statement (link below) may be a useful guide for Professional Regulators in this jurisdiction in relation to communications with the public.
